Labrador Breeding
Labradors make excellent pets and working dogs. Our dogs have a show pedigree with multiple Show Champions in their direct lineage. Here at Sylvestris Kennels we firmly believe that nurture, rather than nature, makes for the best dog, having said that! Darwin may have been onto something, so we also like to cover all the bases and aim to match good healthy dogs to breed, all our breeding dogs are BVA eye tested and hip and elbow scored to ensure they are below the breed average. If you are thinking about getting a new puppy, labradors are large dogs that require plenty of exercise, we recommend three, 30 minute exercise sessions a day. If you can’t commit to this time, please consider a smaller breed. If you are interested in viewing or reserving a puppy, we ask you to complete our Good Home Questionnaire and bring it with you to the kennel. If you are interested in breeding, or looking for more information, please contact Ian and Suzi directly.
We raise all our dogs within the home and they are all well adjusted to other dogs, wildlife and children, they love to run with Ian when he's out on a ride and so are super fit and healthy - but being labradors they do love to eat and that is their weakness, so it’s just as well they get plenty of exercise.
